Welcome from Beacon — Start Here
Before you do anything else, watch this short welcome video. Beacon will walk you through what RAYZIT is, what to expect from the onboarding process, and what you need to have ready before you begin.
What You'll Need Before Starting

- 2An established Stripe account. Don't have one? Visit stripe.com first — verification takes 1-2 business days.

Create Your Admin Username & Password
This is how you will log in to your RAYZIT back office. Use the email address you submitted to RAYZIT and create your secure password.
TipWrite down your email and password somewhere safe. If you get locked out it can delay your launch.

Connect RAYZIT to Your Stripe Account
Stripe is how donations reach your organization's bank account. This is required before any donations can process.
How to Connect Stripe
- 1From your back office menu, tap Connect Stripe
- 2Tap Connect Stripe Account on the next screen
- 3Enter your Stripe email and continue
- 4Once connected, the status will change from red to confirmed
TipNew Stripe accounts can take 1-2 business days to verify. Set up Stripe before starting this checklist if possible.

Customize Your Platform

Set Your Donation Limits
Choose which donation types to offer and set the suggested amounts donors will see. You can enable One-Off, Regular recurring, and Round-Up giving.
Setting Up Your Donation Options
- 1From the back office menu, tap Donation Settings
- 2One-Off: Toggle on. Set four suggested amounts (example: $10, $15, $20, $50)
- 3Regular: Toggle on and set amounts
- 4Round-Up: Toggle on. Set a minimum round-up amount (recommended: $2)
- 5Tap Save when done
TipRound-Up is the most powerful — donors set it once and it runs automatically every time they make a purchase.

Add a Personalized Video to Your Homepage
Add a YouTube video to your RAYZIT homepage. A welcome message from your leadership dramatically increases donor connection.
How to Add Your YouTube Video
- 1From the back office menu, tap Brand Settings
- 2Find the field called YouTube Video ID
- 3Open your YouTube video. Copy the characters after v= in the URL
- 4Paste them into the field and tap Save
TipA 60-second message from your organizational leader goes a long way. You can add this now or come back to it later.

Create Your First Event
Events let you run targeted campaigns tied to specific fundraising moments. You don't need a physical event — a "Spring Campaign" works just as well.
How to Create an Event
- 1From the back office menu, tap Events
- 2Tap Create New Event
- 3Fill in your Event Name, Description, and Image
- 4Set your Donation Amounts and Start Date
- 5Tap Create. Your event page is now live.
TipA named campaign with a deadline converts much better than a general giving page.

Download Your QR Code
Your QR code is a direct link to your donation page. Anyone who scans it goes straight to your giving options — no app download required for donors.
How to Download Your QR Code
- 1From the back office menu, tap Download QR Code
- 2Your QR code downloads as a PNG file to your device
- 3Anyone who scans it goes directly to your RAYZIT giving page
TipYour general QR code is not the same as your Event QR code. Use your general QR for ongoing promotion and the Event QR for active campaigns.
